Pavak Unadkat has always been an entrepreneur at heart. Seeking for a venture, a concept, an idea in everything. Everywhere he looks, he sees something to create. As a university student, Pavak made a small business off of selling MCQ booklets of how to successfully secure a spot in CEPT. This entrepreneur’s first little venture did not provide him with the satisfaction that his future ventures were going to provide him, so unfortunately, it came to a close.
He has also been a very practical person throughout.
Pavak as a schoolboy, collected a lot of precious experience by volunteering and participating in various academic, non – academic competitions and events. He was also the cultural head at CEPT during his time there and continued being an active participant in extra-curriculars throughout. His career as a digital marketer now, initiated as him marketing advertisements for IPL and Gujarat Tourism in his college days. An initial learning spot in his career was getting hired at CWash. He worked on the social media reach for ODF cities project – Open Defication free cities. The job again, did not provide him the sense of accomplishment and satisfaction. Simultaneously, he started his own venture, the Waffling Station – a venture that brought the world of waffles to Rajkot – a venture that was a roaring success.
The entrepreneurial gene runs in the family.
Pavak’s grandfather tried out over 20 businesses before launching a very succesful Amar Estate Agency, a real estate brokerage brand. Pavak credits a lot of his success to the influence his family had on his visions and in their effort in supporting him. Pavak remarked, Mrs. Chandni Unadkat, his wife believed in his abilities to bloom into a successful entrepreneur incessantly, even in the moments he found difficult. “She has supported my entrepreneurship capabilities at the next level. In fact it is she that believed that I am the best entrepreneur and should keep pursuing new ventures.” Pavak’s father, as well as grandfather and cousins played major roles in his motivation to keep going. His grandfather has been the person to inspire him the most. His guidance and his role as an idol in Pavak’s life influenced his professional decisions and assisted him in staying on paths morally correct.

The Big Break
“Yaar waffles miss ho rahe hai”
“Chalo phir khud hi banate hai”
That's how ‘The Waffling Station’ - waffles on wheels for the first time in Rajkot. Along with co-founder and friend Garvesh , in the October of 2017, The Waffling Station was born. Various marketing tactics and the introduction of waffles as a desert in Rajkot meant a whooping amount of 26k on the first day itself. Needless to say, The Waffling Station proved to be a smashing success. However, the Ahmedabad branch did not follow the same trajectory. It provided a valuable lesson in marketing, the same strategies that worked for marketing is Rajkot, did not appeal to the people of Ahmedabad.

A learning curve
Rajkot social, a cafe ahead of its time, brought the art of
sipping coffee to life. However, it was a learning curve.
Being ahead of its time, the concept of coffee as opposed
to the Rajkot’s usual ‘chai’, did not make an impact that
huge.
Pukka Media
At the precipice of covid in 2019, Pavak developed Pukka media along with his wife,
Mrs. Chandni Unadkat. ‘Social media is a sensation.’ that's how Pavak sees it. It’s a
sensation that can bring about impactful change. Pukka media brought a different
vision to marketing. A more viable, accessible and dynamic point of view to marketing
– via social media. Traditional marketing combined with social media marketing, Pavak
and his team at Pukka Media brought in substantial results for its clients.
Workeasy
In July of 2020, the journey of how WorkEasy came to be started with the fresh
concept of a coworking space in Rajkot. From August 2020, the plan was placed in
motion, by November WorkEasy was inaugurated and soon corporates such as
Edelweiss (the 1st client) and Bridgestone signed their contracts. It is now a one of
its kind office space in Rajkot.
Learneasy
LearnEasy is a skill development platform that offers practical, skill based learning,
breaking educational barriers. LearnEasy delivers a blend of online and offline
experiences taught by industry experts. Pavak started LearnEasy to equip pupils with
tools and skillsets necessary for personal as well as professional development in a
rapidly evolving world. It is an inclusive tool for lifelong learning.

to podcast for all experiences, old and new, ones you can sit and reminisce and
ones we can all learn from. It’s an attempt to connect to people, through raw
emotions and experiences.
